T-Junction has five independent children’s homes each offering placements for up to three or four young people aged between 6 – 18 years who would benefit from living in a small group environment.
T-Junction Children’s Services
T-Junction comprises five children’s homes situated on the outskirts of Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire. Each home provides placements for up to three children and young people aged between six and eighteen years, with the exception of Brightside, which offers four placements.
Our homes offer therapeutic support to children and young people who have experienced significant trauma or neglect in their early lives and who may find the demands of family-based foster care challenging. We are committed to creating safe, nurturing environments where every child feels valued, supported and empowered to develop a positive sense of self.
Eastside is registered with Ofsted to support young people with learning difficulties and emotional and behavioural needs. Westside, Northside, Southside and Brightside are registered to support young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
T-Junction was established in 2017 by Tim Clare (pictured), who has personal experience of the care system. Drawing on his own experiences, Tim developed a powerful vision of what children need to feel safe, valued and good about themselves in a children’s home.
This vision continues to shape our approach, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive, build meaningful relationships and reach their full potential.
All five of our homes are rated Good or Outstanding by Ofsted, reflecting our commitment to providing high-quality, nurturing environments for our young people. Our organisation and Director have also received recognition through a number of awards over the years, demonstrating our continued dedication to achieving the very best outcomes for every child and young person in our care.

We Provide First Class Child Care
Our homes are comfortable, welcoming places, with soft sofas, cosy cushions, clean kitchens and the wonderful smell of freshly baked treats. They provide a safe haven and a secure base for every child and young person who lives with us.
Each home offers spaces to have fun, spend time together and enjoy quieter moments when a little peace and privacy are needed. Every child has their own bedroom, which they can personalise and decorate in a way that reflects their individual tastes and interests.
Situated within established residential communities, our homes are close to parks, shops and other local amenities. There are opportunities to ride bikes, play games, explore the local area and, most importantly, build friendships and feel part of the community.

Our experienced team works collaboratively with children, their families and education professionals to develop individualised strategies that promote emotional well-being, positive relationships and meaningful progress. Our approach is underpinned by therapeutic principles and PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy), helping us to understand each child’s experiences, recognise their emotional needs and build trusting relationships.
Through compassionate support, evidence-based therapeutic approaches and tailored care plans, we help children and young people to develop emotional resilience, build confidence and achieve positive outcomes. By creating a safe, nurturing and supportive environment, we empower every individual to reach their full potential, both academically and personally, while ensuring they feel valued, understood and encouraged to thrive.
LD Services
At T-Junction, we provide specialist support for children and young people with learning difficulties, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their individual potential. Our experienced and compassionate team works closely with each young person, their families and education professionals to develop tailored learning plans that promote academic achievement, social development and emotional well-being.
Our approach is underpinned by therapeutic principles and PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy), enabling us to build trusting relationships, understand each young person’s individual needs and create an environment where they feel safe, valued and understood.
Through personalised support, evidence-based strategies and a nurturing environment, we encourage confidence, independence and resilience. We celebrate each young person’s achievements, however big or small, and empower them to develop their skills, build meaningful relationships and work towards their personal goals.
